Well, then we agree. Chicharito is more mobile than Matri though.

The thing that struck me whenever I watched him play for Man U. is that he's always at the right spot at the right time. Inzaghi-esque positioning.
I think he was great when Manure bought him but later on he just disappeared in games. I don't think he's good enough eventhough I rated him before.

I would personally be satisfied with either but i think Dzeko would cost a lot more in terms of wages and transfer fee which is why i prefer Llorente.

He usually came from bench, though. It's not like we had a great choice on our bench at that point. No need to point out the obvious, but we didn't buy him as well.
Conte has a mixed history in terms of strikers, probably because he has used different formations. He has used a classic CF with Bari, Siena and Juventus, over different spells. He definitely likes to use one in a decent amount of games, and we need that option.

He is going with Giovinco-Vucinic as currently they are working well at this stage.

I'm not a huge fan of that, I think those two should be rotated.

For the past years we had some striker saga's here, which in the end all sucked.
2012: Cavani, RvP, now Llorente
2011: Aguero
2010: Dzeko

What happened before that?

(I know this is not news, but I forgot and really want to be reminded ;))

Both Conte and Marotta said that top player doesn't have to be a big name but someone who's good anyway (ala Vidal signing). Kinda weird, when they say stuff like that it usually happens.

So if it's not Llorente nor any other big player, who will it be? :boh: Chicharito?
I'm not predicting he'll arrive when I say Doumbia, fits into that category though and I like him.

Sky: Juve still after Llorente. Marrotta hoping to close the deal. Player press conference tomorrow to announce his intentions.

Matri and Quag will in all likelihood remain even with the arrival of a top player.

Ziegler has Benfica and Stoke interested in him 3-4m.

Iaquinta, decisive week with Hamburg.

I'm still looking at the possibility of this 'surprise' signing, Conte reinforced this. I think it'll be someone who has either not been mentioned or was mentioned loosely in the past.
