Fuck Walcott. As things stand, if we get a favorable draw in the group stages and a bit of luck in the knockouts, we can make it to the QF. If we get a difficult group, I expect us to be eliminated before the knockout stages.

As for Serie A, I really don't think we will be troubled much, but it will be harder to repeat as Champions due to 3 reasons:

1) Commitments in Europe (Physically and Psychologically straining)
2) The Conte Factor (His suspension might prove to be more crucial than we think)
3) The Surprise Element (We are no longer an unknown entity)

That's highly unlikely.

I'm not worried, it's the CL, you have to play top teams. We will either be good enough or we won't, but we have to see progress and be competitive in it.
I agree to a certain extent, but I'd rather start with an easy group, finish top, get a favorable draw in the 2'nd round, and then anything can happen once we reach the QF. I mean Apoel reached the QF last year, and a horrible Chelsea took the "big ears" trophy. Anything is possible :D

Perhaps so, but their squads are superior to ours. Barca, Madrid, City, Chelsea, Bayern, and to a lesser extent PSG are most definitely the teams I'd like to avoid until the later stages. Anyone else, and I think we should be too strong for them.

I don't think we should be too concerned with Chelsea or Bayern just yet.

Never underestimate Bayern. I still can't forget when they owned us 4-1 @ home last time; that was so fucking embarrassing, especially after we had gone 1-0 up.
I like Bayern, just think once we get a top striker we won't have much to worry about. :)

Just call it the optimism in me.
