You can whine and cry all you want about it seriously

In the european cup, he was outperforming any defender every single game

And at juve, he was getting considerably better in the second half of the season

Most important, his ballplaying skills are far ahead of any other central defender we have. In a 3-5-2 the way you build up from the back is crucial, having 1 defender there with a pretty good pass or nice controll on the ball, is so vital, and conte, damn well knows this.

put lucio, barzagli and chiellini in the back, opposition marks pirlo and the wings ? lets see how many times those 3 will balloon the ball out off possession cause they couldnt connect to the midfield

Thats not a rumour, its a fact, Cassano professed his dislike of that possibly happening back in May/early june, clearly not content with totally unambitious Milan. But they wont make that deal anyways, and Cassano will move to a smaller club if he is being sold, IMO Milan is prolly his last big club in Italy (and there are only 3 big clubs in Italy). He is not a guy that likes being in a big pond anyways.

I understand where Cassano's coming from.

Why bother with all the pressure that comes with being at a big club if you aren't going to get the rewards that usually go with it?

I wouldn't do that. We need a CF.

What would we do with Cassano, Vucinic, Giovinco, and Quagliarella?

And to be honest, we don't need Cassano. Even if we were okay on the CF department.

Sell Quagliarella, and buy Dzeko or Pazzini.

Vucinic, Giovinco, Matri, Dzeko/Pazzini and maybe Boakye.

We'd be fine IMO.

well, considering the team we'd get if we also get armero, just the upgrade in finishing when we'd add pazzini to this team, would have a great impact

people seriously underestimate that. we dont need another 20 created chances each game, we need someone that scores the 15 we make allready every damn game

I agree.

The only player I wouldn't hold that logic too is Jovetic. I'd take him even if that means there's no CF coming.

However, Cassano is no Jovetic - he has had that bad heart problem, his age, and Jovetic is just superior IMO.

Cassano is a quality player but not enough to miss out on a CF.

i'd love to have stevan aswel

but people shouldnt act like "oh no, we cant get dzeko/jovetic and only pazzini, well be a provincial mid table team and get humiliated in europe"
