mmm not really to be honest alot of serie a fans are more realistic then the epl trash talking fan boys we don't say this player and that player are the best in the world like they do in england or australia. For example pirlo and xavi are pretty even players but us fans don't drill that fact he could be the best in the world in his position into every conversation we have about football. Actually come to think of it we just went a whole domestic season undefeated! we hardly ever bring that up..... we could easily draw comparisons to the invincibles team but we dont because the media don't drill it into us all day everyday like fox sports love about the epl propoganda, and its arrogant to brag about how good we are. It's just a different mentality, maybe its down to the media, games like fifa that put players on a pedastol like rooney or the sheer anglo love for the game but the epl fans talk it up ALOT

Terry is so over-rated its untrue, Cole is quality, but when he is poor for Chelsea, he still gets picked !!!

I pretty much agree with you on the England players.
The Gerrard, Lampard generation has clearly failed. England have to start moving on from them immediately, even if I'm not convinced by a lot of the potential replacements. The likes of Cleverly, Welbeck, Phil "Headless Chicken" Jones and even Wilshere are already being overrated by the English media.
