I agree that Jojo is a bigger talent but I think Gaston is a big talent too. You can see he has really good vision and is good with the ball with his feet and he always seems to know what to do, unlike say giovinco who doesn't always have the end product.

:agree: We need Jovetic here. We deserve to have him, and he deserves to don our jersey :D

Ramirez, Cavani, and Suarez. What talent Uruguay have. If they could somehow get a working/functioning midfield, I think they can be WC contenders in 2014!

Oh I agree that Gaston has the chance to become a big time talent, no question about it.

Now, if Juve were to somehow get JoJo, a LWB, AND Ramirez, then in my opinion, you are looking at the best Juve mercato since 2001.

Yeah, I said it.

hes obviously a upgrade on our current attackers but I reckon hes a tad overated an attack of vucinic-ramirez up front doesnt striker me as "fearful" as pazzini-jojo or vucinic-jojo and it would be a waste to buy him as a winger or right forward we already have isla, and pepe for the attacking right flank. I suspect maybe conte might buy ramirez to play as a left winger in a 3-5-2?

Jovetic
Ramirez
Armero
Isla
Asamoah
Lucio
Giovinco

I'm not quite sure if you are being serious or not
Jovetic and Ramirez ? Are you guys joking? :shifty:

That would be a stupidity of monumental proportions regardless of transfer fees or the salaries involved.

One central forward in the whole setup and its Matatatri (whom we all love, I admit and also was a 2nd option to Borigol last season)? :sergio:
And since before this transfer window started we were looking for CFs with high members of the hierarchy of out beloved club naming Cavani and Higuain as potential targets... Even pundits knew we need a goal-getter we were creating just fine as we were. Which brings me conveniently to my second point: What are we to do with the whole army of wide attackers we have? I don't even know how many wide defenders we have and who's a defender and who's a winger in fact... :snoop:

Olympics 2012 would be our first chance to see this trio in a competitive match. Anyway if Ramirez is coming, i am pretty much sure that we would cash in Pepe.

My point exactly.. Even if you have a very creative squad that creates a lot of chances it doesn't mean you'll win games since you have none to finish them off. Ramirez is a backup to Jovetic and with a mercato like that one we'd have to play Matri or Quagliarella for CF when we play 4-3-3. I see the addition of good players but you have to look at qualities of players rather then just overall valuation. Having that many second strikers wouldn't fit anywhere in Contes plans. We will sign two strikers and a left back before the window closes. A CF and a SS but the CF is the main priority. So. You guys pick Jovetic and Ramirez - what is what?

Signing Destro(or some other real CF) and Jovetic is way better then signing Jovetic and Ramirez - anyone who fail to comply doesn't know shiiat..

Ramirez, is he really that good ?? Seemed to have had 1 decent season, why all the hype ???

Same for Jovetic.
Jovetic' has had more then one good season, mate..

Some people around here think you can sign 5 second strikers and play them whereever you want. Jovetic can't play winger - Giovinco can't play winger.. FFS guys, it's not manager!!?

I was speaking in hypothetical terms in regards to the quality of players brought over, not necessarily in regards to how they would fit.

Talent wise, and based solely on talent, it would be a great mercato, but even a Ramirez fanboy such as myself knows that him coming would impede a CF from arriving

Well either they are trolling or just stupid...
Anyway I agree that we should halt all purchases bar the likes of JoJo unless we offload a lot of players first. When I say Jojo I mean a truly top player for whom we can do some kind of a swap deal (i've read Matri - Jojo, but find it hard to believe since Chamakh is going to Fiorentina too)... What's more apparent is once we do a similar deal its painly obvious we are on the lookout for CF's desperately and even Inter might milk us on the Pazzini deal. (and again I am for it only if its a swap for a player we can't get proper cash for atm)
Milan are looking for a striker these days too. But getting 15m+ from Galliani for Matri  idk about that

Yeah I thought so...

PS: Just wanted to add that it would be amazing if Ibracadabra refuses to sign for PSG because a) they aren't the club of his heart and b) mino couldn't get a 10m signing fee + 17m/y salary contract...
It might be sad that PSG would move around for a top CF and could be singing Gonzalo, but on the other hand Milan are royally fucked
