Because if you were not in Florence at all, then you missed out on one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and easily the most beautiful city in Italy, in my opinion.

Gli Uffizi and Il Duomo are great. Though I'd have to say my favourite arty/architectural/monument thing in Italy was probably St. Peter's in Rome. Simply amazing.

I hope to take my wife to Italy for a couple of weeks in the not too distant future.

I can show her where my family is from. Only for a couple of days there, though. there isn't much to do in the villages of the Abruzzo region of Italy. Although I can already envision sitting down to a plate of Spaghetti with Black Truffles at my cousin's house in Pizzoli.

We all know that Sicilia is the best place in Italy.

Has anyone ever been to Rome? I'm sure some of you have. The feeling you get from that place is incomparable.

It's incredible. I remember visiting the Forum, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and so many other places and just being in complete awe the whole time.

It was an experience to walk around and casually see buildings like the Pantheon just sitting there, well preserved.

Because if you were not in Florence at all, then you missed out on one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and easily the most beautiful city in Italy, in my opinion.

I've been told quite definitely to get myself over there one day, looking forward to it.

I reckon the Pantheon is the most amazing thing in Rome, because it's almost 2000 years old and still in very good condition and the Dome is made with perfect architecture & engineering.

Rome is very coooool. Though tbh I prefer the smaller towns, I think it would be awesome living in a smaller town rather than a city with millions.
