While we are at this discussion,we are also signing a lot of South American players something which i've always wanted to see..I only hope we do a bit more scouting and dig deep into the south american market ,there's a truckload of talent there and which also enable us to get players for cheap with low wages plus Juventus has maintained its south american profile(its much more popular than the English clubs) as opposed to the overpriced and inflated European market(mind you certain Brazilian talents are the exception to this case but we could still find quality talents for the right price)..

With that being said ,the tradition of Juventus will remain though and that is being a largely Italian squad.
we should continue to use top urugyuan and chilean talent we havent really ever dipped into the argentenian market as much as we should have but thats usually because their top players we go after are waaaay to over priced by the time we try for them. we should also take a look at colombian and mexican players as well. We also used to have afew eastern european players in our time maybe we should re-live that interest and buy some eastern european talent again as well

In brazil theres this guy called arouca this dm he's very impressive and would probably not cost much he could be a good squad player for us

if we are not able to get that "top player"/reach our targets(JoJo,dzeko,RVP etc),we should seriously consider damiao imo..

he would defo come under 25m,wont be a burden in terms of his wages ,only 22 years old and a regular starter in Brazil NT,we should stop talking about this unproven BS seriously..He is a quality striker and with the right kind of service can defo be our 20 goal striker.

When we cant afford the big names ,we should atleast consider buying young players with potential(who would have a good resale value) rather than overpaying for average stop gap purchases ..I mean look,we're stuck with Quags and Matri right now who are simply not top class strikers and having a lot of difficulty in offloading them cuz they dont want to leave obviously and you cant blame them with us just having won a scudetto and when we're planning with an ambitious future ahead. We'll be continuing with the old trend if we bring in someone like Pazzini which would be a massive dissapointment of all sorts. And i dont like this proven player BS..Pazzini might have had a proven record under his belt but in no ways would he improve our attack plus he's old enough already and we will face the inevitable difficulty of offloading him(incase he flops/Has an underwhelming season)

Pazzini isn't a target for us, the only way pazzini will end up here is in a borrielo type deal if by some weird fluke we get a good offer for either matri or quag.
conte ain't stupid and if he didnt care for matri last season he wont sign someone like pazzini who will have the same problems in conte's system.

Matri might be going away in a transfer deal for a top striker. In that case, a player like Pazzini could be useful to have on the bench.

You cant be too sure of that Joe :D

Matri could still scupper any deal he's being involved in you know :X

Matri wont be swaped. he can't be used in a deal with any of the strikers we are linked with.

Though i agree that if some club from russia offers 12-15m for Matri then we should sell and bring pazzini to act as backup

Yeah, I'm just saying hypothetically if he were to be transferred I wouldn't mind Pazzzini coming into replace him. I consider them players of the same pedigree.

You may be right. Right now rumours saying either Matri or Quag might be involved in the transfer for Jovetic. Some rumours that came out today though just said Pazienza, Padoin and Giaccherini...so I guess only time will tell.

Buffon close to renewing until 2015..his wages are going to be lesser from what he currently earns though(6m a year)..4m + bonuses is the new wage ,agreement has not yet been reached but everything suggests that he'll soon agree to a deal.

With Zlatan leaving to PSG, i guess we wont have to worry about them competing with us for any other forwards like Higuain or RVP.

Heard they made an inquiry on Vidal as well.
