I think Italy's game against Spain today highlighted that some serious improvement is needed up front in order to compete against Madrid and Barca in the CL next year. Chelsea and City will also be major forces. Without meaning to be disrespectful, the other clubs are irrelevant in that I'd consider Juventus favorites to beat them... all other things being equal; effort, form, first team availability, etc. The best club in Italy should be able to field a better forward starting lineup, regardless of the expense (within reason, of course). I feel the financial outlay will be more than made up for when the team performs on the pitch. PDC and Giacch can cover the LWB position, at least for one season. If it doesn't work out, then a better LWB can be bought next summer since the LWB position isn't going to be a deal breaker this year.
Dzeko --- Suarez*
PDC --- Claudio --- Pirlo --- Vidal --- Isla
Chiellini--- Barzagli --- Bonucci
Buffon
*Suarez or Jovetic - I like both but leaning towards Suarez because he's a tireless n talented sumbitch that won't give up.
Subs: Matri, Vucinic,
Asamoah, Pepe,
Pogba, Marrone, Giacch, Lichsteiner, Caceres,
Lucio, Storari.
Sell/loan everyone else!
If all else fails, I hope Juventus buys and clones Rossi to troll B81.
