Still cant believe we let go of Giroud..would've been such an awesome signing at a cheap price,much better signing than Dzeko i would say..And that dude's one handsome mofo too ,football abilities aside.Complete striker ,just what we needed.

Add to that he's just not a static poacher like Dzeko..He is very mobile,he can score and create too..I'm sure he'll have a great impact at Arsenal the coming season.

Giroud is good but he's way overrated at the moment. The guy has had ONE solid season of top flight football FFS.

I am not doubting that..Dzeko is definitely better than Giroud..

But i thought someone like Giroud would be a better fit in Conte's system imo.Which is why i wanted Van Persie here so badly but alas it wont happen.

thats unfair, it was his first season in first flight football, he made an impression.

That being said, i think its a myth that Giroud is more mobile than Dzeko, he might be more technical, has a better touch. But Dzeko is more mobile than he's given credit for imo.

Also Giroud is quite slow, that is a concern of mine, not sure how fast he'll adapt to English football.

Giroud's still more mobile than Dzeko.

The thing with Giroud is that he has decent speed (top speed), but he has really poor acceleration so it does comes across as if he's slow.

Still, he's a huge upgrade over the Chamakhs, Bendtners and Vela's, so needless to say i'm happy with his signing.
