I just can't see that happening. Xavi is a great player, one of the best midfielders of the last twenty years, but Pirlo is better.

Imagine Xavi in any other club then Barca.. Lets say you had the choice of keeping Pirlo or sending him away and getting Xavi. Don't think of the financial part, but strictly the players head to head. I would take Pirlo by a mile!

Something wrong with your imagination then . Xavi is the more accurate passer imo, but Pirlo's vision and gameplay would make him even more decisive. My 2 cents.

I'm not hanging on to past. Torres in his current form is still better than Lewa who's still got alot to prove. Each to his own man, and btw I wasn't aware of Moggi's comments. that makes Torres a must buy then
