Jakub is a good player, but I dont think we will get him..

If Marotta is saying we are not getting the big name for striker,is Giroud still available? or is he definitely going to Arsenal.
If he is, then Giroud + Gio would make me pretty happy.

With full respect to Giovinco, I fail to see the point of him against any opposition that is Champions League worthy. He can be a star of the league in one of the top 4-8 teams but if Juventus wants to be among Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, City, Chelsea and United, then Giovinco cannot be a starter in the XI.

I think we should be generating a minimum of 27-28 million cash from player sales.

-Liverpool have offered around 8m for Krasic and we should have no problem in accepting it.

-No.of Premier league and Bundesliga clubs are interested in Elia and think we should be able to get another 8m of him as well.

-Spartak Moscow have offered 11m for Felipe Melo and much depends on the player itself if he wants to got Russia. If not we could still end up getting 10m for Galatasaray as it seems that is their offer and Melo has shown his willingness to stay there.

-Ziegler will remain in Turkey and Fenerbahce most likely will snap him up for 4m..And Maybe just maybe we could get 2-3m for Motta if we are lucky. Also we could also possibly get 1-2m of Pazienza.

So that would make around 30m in total from player sales..Enough money to purchase the Top Striker..We only have to hope the likely scenarios which i've posted above happen.

-Martinez would probably used in the trade for acquiring Veratti..And we've already freed up the wage quotient of the likes of Amauri and Iaquinta who were on pretty high wages as well.

........................

I'm sure we'll buy the 'top player' we are craving for ,but we only have to hope we buy the right player who would come at the right price.

Buying a player of the caliber of RVP or Higuain will signal our intent, and show that we are back for good. Failure to get that "Top Player" or end up with someone like Lewadonwski (he's really good, but definitely not a top player) will leave many (including myself) quite disappointed (unless we get someone like JoJo as well).

Incredibly enough we've spent almost 50m in the market already.

Leali-4m

Isla and Asamoah-14m

Caceres-8m

Padoin-5m

Veratti's deal is rumored to be 3m+Martinez(loan) + one of our youth(Buoy or Chisbah) for half-ownership of him.

And if Giovinco and Giaccherini deals go through(supposed 11-13m and 3-4m respectively)

So our expenditure would amount to 50m approx already and we're still looking for a CB and maybe even a LB along with a Top striker. This is where we should prioritize big time..I definitely wouldnt mind not having another CB and LB if it would jeopardize our plans in the quest for acquiring the Top Striker as i get a feeling our expenditure wont go beyond this amount but we'll wait and see.

I have a feeling Insigne will come in for Lavezzi and do extremely well. Cavani and Insigne up front plus a strengthened defence (?) I think is De Laurentiss' pitch to Cavani in trying to keep him. The only possible way Cavani is staying at Napoli is if he's fully convinced that Napoli are in a position to make CL.

I dont know why, but I have a feeling that Chelsea might come in for Cavani. They've won the CL and they want to compete for the EPL next year. That might free up Torres tho, if we were interested.

If we don't go for big names, go for Giroud. Damn it.
I have a feeling he'll massively disappoint if he moves to a big club. I just don't see the potential for him to be better than he was last season tbh.

He's also really suited to the EPL imo, would be a very good siging for Chelsea.
