Petkovic wants Krasic at Lazio
By Football Italia staff

New Lazio Coach Vladimir Petkovic is reportedly interested in bringing Juventus’ forgotten winger Milos Krasic to the capital.

After a good impression in 2010-11, Krasic struggled in his second season in Turin under Coach Antonio Conte and is set to leave the Bianconeri this summer having only played 20 minutes for them since mid-October 2011.

Lazio were reportedly on the verge of bringing the Serbian star to the Olimpico in January on a loan deal, only for the player’s agent to indicate that Krasic wasn’t interested.

Despite a change in Coach since then, the Aquile are reportedly trying to revive hopes of a deal this summer, with new boss Petkovic pushing for the move, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

The winger is rated at €6.5m, which is €8.5m less than Juve paid for him two years ago, whilst his contract expires in 2014.

Krasic has previously also been linked with Fenerbahce, Sevilla, Zenit St Petersburg, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Marseille.

Juventus to talk Verratti
By Football Italia staff

Juventus officials will reportedly resume talks with the agent of Pescara teenager Marco Verratti on Thursday.

The Under-21 international, still just 19, is a known transfer target for the champions but agreeing a deal is proving to be problematic.

Juve have made an €8m offer for the central midfielder, but the newly promoted outfit want €12m for his signature.

Club officials are set to speak with Domenico Di Campli at some stage tomorrow for an evaluation of the situation.

Verratti is also of interest to clubs such as Inter, Genoa, Roma and Napoli, but the player is keen to sign for the Turin giants.

However, Pescara and Verratti are pushing for any deal to include the option for them to stay together for the 2012-13 campaign.

Pescara will be playing in Serie A next term after winning the Serie B title under the guidance of boss Zdenek Zeman. He has now joined Roma.

Kolarov hints at frustration
By Football Italia staff

Reportedly tracked by Inter and Juventus, Aleksandar Kolarov has given the strongest indication yet that he could leave Manchester City this summer.

Despite playing a part in the English side’s Premier League success, the 26-year-old Serbian, who moved to the Etihad from Lazio in 2010, has admitted that he has been frustrated by a lack of playing time.

The left-back appeared only 12 times in the League last term under Roberto Mancini and has hinted that a departure is on the cards.

“Here I am very happy, but my goal is to play more. I’ve spoken to Mancini,” he reportedly told English journalists.

“My future? I am in contact with my agent, I will talk to him shortly.”

Both Juve and Inter have been linked with the free-kick specialist, who is valued at €12m.

Juventus to try to include Giovinco in Napoli talks over Cavani
The Bianconeri have not given up on landing the highly-rated Uruguayan and will now try to include the diminutive attacker as makeweight in the deal

The Uruguayan striker has been suggested as the priority to bolster Juventus' attacking options as coach Antonio Conte is eager to fine-tune his squad in order to be ready for Champions League football next season.

Napoli have been non-committal when asked about the potential sale of Cavani as Ezequiel Lavezzi's future at Stadio San Paolo remains a hot topic of debate.

It is understood that Valencia striker Roberto Soldado is at the top of Napoli's preferences, but given the difficulties to sign the Spain international, the Partenopei are considering other options.

And Giovinco, who is co-owned by Juventus and Parma, could be included in a deal for Cavani in a bid to convince the Coppa Italia holders to let the former Palermo striker move to Turin.

The Serie A champions have until June 22 to reach an agreement with Parma regarding the 25-year-old, or the full ownership of the striker will be decided through a blind auction, in which the higher bidder of the two will secure the remaining 50 per cent of his economic rights.

Cavani, for his part, is believed to be willing to accept Juventus' €5million-a-year contract and further his career at the Bianconeri under Antonio Conte, of whom he is a great fan.

Alan Dzagoev

Apparently, his contract is running out at the end of this year. Potential bargain.
OMG!

He could be very cheap for a player of his qualities. I'm not judging him from the past two Russia games at the Euros - he's been a very hot prospect for 3 years now!!

there is no space for him because he is not any good

Kjær?? In Juve.. No fuck, No! Just because he played one good game against Holland? Really! The man was garbage the whole season at Roma. Astori it is.

And by the way... Ikke flere danskere i Juve, tak!

No i'm not? Guys, it's not like i actually think Kjaer is the best in the world or something. I looked up the facts and though he could become a decent signing. Wantaway in Wolfsburg, not to be signed in Roma, still only 23 years old. Tons on routine for the national team - the Euros against big opponents, tons of serie a routine - fkd up this season but look at his chances. He played with only one other defender as the fullbacks/wingbacks whatever was very offensive. He was like Pique in Barca, only "Barca" had no real thread offensively whatsoever..

Eh he will cost us way more then he is worth but we need him. with him I would be very confident of juve doing well in the champs league next season even if he costs 25-30+ midget then so be it his wages are only 5 million robinho currently earns 6 at Milan thats not unrealistic van persie type wages

Now that's pushing it. I'd rather throw Ranocchia in a ditch, piss on him, then sprinkle his body with fermented salty fish.
Why not ?3 CB system could actually work to his benefit..Its not that he is a scrub or something but its quite clear that playing in a Highline is not his cup of tea.Samuel is way too slow and similar in traits to partner him in defense and Lucio is basically a walking liability in defense.Having good defensive partners around you also helps you raise your game you know. The same thing has happened to Bonucci..

Rannochia is still a talented defender in my books ,good reader of the game ,superb in the air and given the right motivation under Conte's tutelage he can be become a very good defender.I'd take him if he came cheap tbh.
