Olympique Lyonnais demand €11m for Cissokho
The French giants insist they will stand firm over their valuation of the defender, who has frequently said in the past that he is looking for a new challenge abroad
Olympique Lyonnais have declared that they will allow Aly Cissokho to leave the club, providing their asking price of €11 million for the left-back is met.
The 24-year-old continues to be persistently linked with an exit from the Stade Gerland, as Serie A duo Juventus and Napoli are understood to be vying for his services.
It has been suggested that Cissokho's transfer is close at hand, but Lyon have warned all interested parties that the France international will not be sold on the cheap.
"Contrary to what has been written in French and Italian media in the last days, negotiations with clubs who may want the player will not begin for a fee inferior than €11m," a club statement read.
"Lyon would like to remind that Aly Cissokho has played 91 Ligue 1 and 29 Champions League matches at the club and became an international for France after joining from Porto in July 2009 for €15m."
Cissokho previously appeared set to join AC Milan prior to his move to Lyon, but failed to meet "the medical demands of the club".
