Well, he ought to. Seeing how terrible our strikers are is all the proof one needs really. Look at United. Their defense and midfield suck donkey balls, yet they are 6 points ahead in the EPL largely due to RVP, and to a lesser extent Rooney.

We have done well thus far, but there will be games where we will need that clinical striker, and will end up regretting not getting him.

Nah.

Getting Llorente on the cheap and groomingBoakye/Immobile is the way forward.

Boayke is gonna be huge. I also hope one of Bonatini or Otin turns out to be something special. We should keep scouting those South American markets. There was a time when Falcao and Cavani weren't this good or valuable, and we need to uncover and develop such players, in the same manner Barcelona and Dortmund are currently doing, and Ajax and United did in the past.

I'd love one of Suarez or Jovetic here to give Vucinic a run for his money.

Suarez will never be worth such an amount.
It's not about his worth as a player. It's about his worth to the club.

We're never going to be able to pay that. :/ And 40 million must be the absolute cheapest he would be sold for?
Yeah, someone said 40 million is where we would start considering to sell Suarez. Especially in January.

It came up when papers were speculating Chelsea making a bid.

That works there, but you need a more rounded team in Serie A.
