Suarez would be awesome but I'd only go for him if we didn't have mirko already. Suarez is awesome cutting in from the left - less so on the other side. And the people who want him as the main striker should get their head examined.

I'm juat wondering if this Suarez speculation is true, and if this dal maybe even goes through, does that mean, we will still have some cash for RvP, at say 25m? Especially considering, we were in the Market for a 15m rated RWF and a 30m rated CF.

Van Persie and Suarez in the same mercato would be surreal, considering it's Juve in a beleagured Serie A, and Marrotta pulling it through, to top it off.

Vucinic-RvP-Suarez-Treble.

What the hell are we going to do with Suarez? We don't need another SS.
That's not true. Suarez is what Vucinic wants to be. He is a WC SS. And jus as importantly would fit the Conte's 433 like a glove. Not only is he the best value for money option on the market today, he is also capable of being a game changer. And as an option, would do more for this team in its overall play than a CF perhaps would.

it seems that me and you have a very different opinion of a WC SS

@baggio How hard are we really going for Suarez..? I would still prefer someone like Sanchez but Suarez is still gonna work real fine in RWF,who would the CF be then if we get Suarez, surely there would be no more money for someone like Higuain/Cavani/RVP, maybe Giroud is really being considered by Marotta/Paratici?

Seems like we have made an offer of 16m plus Elia which was shot down, and we are in the midst of presenting a counter offer of 20m plus Elia or Krasic from what I understand. Both the sun and guardian are reporting this story, it's also up on TJ and TS.

But this is an intriguing question, because, 20m is a small fee compared to what we have set aside for the marquee signing, so I don't know if Suarez will come in as a compleemnt to a bigger 30m signing like RvP or say Cavani for 25m plus Melo. Hypothetically at least, it's a possibility because we certainly have that kind of money to play with. 40 m plus sales is what we have in total if you ask me.

We have terrific resources but we have a unreliable board who have talked big in the past but failed to produce. We probably have the resources to get suarez+ 1 of rvp, cavani, higuain but to go out and actually sign them is a skill. I don't trust Marotta but to say we couldn't sign those players based on money or resources is foolish.

We wont be signing Jojo if we get Suarez, nor would we sign back Giovinco, Suarez would quality signing, but as others said, we need a quality striker first and foremost.
