I'm really learning a lot about Juventus youngster in the Italian forum Vecchia Signora.

And also in the website Juventi Knows. There's a shit load of info about Primavera in that one.

What happened to this Hummels guy who 1 year ago was the new Beckenbauer and now everybody says he's overrated? Probably played shitty in the Euros.

Anyway, Brazilian players that should be considered by Juve:

Jucilei - 24yr old I guess - DM/CM - very very classy, tall, quick, can dribble, pass and score. This one reminds me of Vieira, really. I've seen him play for 1 year him in Brazil. Absolutely stunning. Then he commited the mistake of going to Anzhi in Russia... nobobdy remembers the guy. He was already in the NT team and now he doesn't stand a chance. I know we are stacked in the mid. Just saying.

Fernando - Gremio - 19yr old - CM - complete and all around CM. Just made the NT. Very good kid.

Bernard - Atletico Mineiro - 19yr old SS or winger. Small, quick, intelligent, uses both feet, can dribble. Also just made the NT.

PS: I don't overrate Brazilian players like many do. :)

He flopped bad, he's not good enough. Don't know about those other 2 though.

:howler: Hummels might be over-rated, but there is no fucking way that Bonucci is superior to him. If Bonucci was plying his trade for Inter/Milan I doubt you'd even mention them both in the same sentence ;)

Any links to that kid Isco from Malaga? A while back Mark mentioned him as a target? Realistic? Feasible?

Hummels is not some super amazing defender, he has his flaws just like Bonucci. Why is there no way Bonucci is better than Hummels? Because Hummels plays for a different team so he is better? I never understood all the hype around Hummels.

Reread my post. I said Hummels might be over-rated, but he is definitely a more complete and more intelligent defender than Bonucci. He doesn't commit as many brainfarts as Bonucci, and his passing is just as good. His major flaw is his lack of pace, but his positional sense compensates for that. Moreover, he's the leader of that Dortmund defense; he doesn't have the likes of Chiellini and Barzegli helping him out/covering up for his mistakes. I'm sure if he was playing for Juventus he'd be a better defender for us than Bonucci (and I don't hate Bonucci). However, having said that, I wouldn't waste 20-25 million euros on him.

I still think you're overrating him, maybe he might be better, but only a tiny bit. Definitely not worth 20-25. Maybe 10-15. Dortmund won't sell for that anyway so doesn't matter.
