---------- Post added 12.09.2012 at 12:37 ----------

isla-llorente-nani to front our 4-3-3 in january? i like it :agree: but do i think its gonna happen...
I'm not fond of Marchisio nor think he will be (or is) world class like Pirlo and how Vidal could be in not much time but he's definitely better than jack Wiltshere.

We wont be signing Nani as we play 3-5-2 which means there are 2 forwards and I doubt we are going to sign Nani as a ss...
If we sign someone it will be a striker! Drogba Llorente those kind of players

Jovetic: "Yes, there was truth to the rumors. Juventus came with a lot of insistence & my future was in the balance." 1/3

Jovetic: "It's normal to feel a few things: playing in the Champions League, feel a new environment, be part of a big project." 2/3

Jovetic: "It was a moment of reflection. In the end I chose Florence because I could not betray this city." 3/3

So according to this list Sneijder is Serie A's MVP?

Quag is worth 8million and Pirlo only 5....

Sneijder would have a fair case to be one of the league's top valued players. That apart, I think these valuations consider what the player is bought for, as well as depreciation linked to age. We could realistically get double of Pirlo's value as shown here but assuming we got him for free, they've set his valuation at about 5m considering his 33?! years of age. Quag was bought for 15, but his value has dropped since to 8, and if its shot up since last year then marginally only coz of him not starting the season injured. Just trying to make sense of it here. May actually be a different formula for all you know.

Juve still pondering transfers
By Football Italia staff

The transfer window may have closed but Juventus are still working to strengthen the squad, says director general Beppe Marotta.

“We are continuing to monitor interesting players and we’ll decide whether to make any moves in January,” stated the official.

Marotta and Co spent the whole summer looking for a new striker, but failed in bids to net Robin Van Persie, Stevan Jovetic or Fernando Llorente.

While the Dutchman has now been lost to Manchester United, the Fiorentina and Athletic Bilbao men are still on their radar.

“We have looked for players with a certain profile and Jovetic fits that, but he is a Fiorentina player and the Viola will decide his future. Llorente? We are continuing to work.”

Juve eventually opted to take Niklas Bendtner on loan from Arsenal, a player who has a number of question marks against his quality.

“The first judgements from Conte on Bendtner are very positive,” Marotta added. “He’s a youngster who wants to do well.”

The Turin giants also rubbished reports that they are interested in Lazio stopper Modibo Diakite after he rejected a new deal in Rome.

“There are usually a lot of bombastic headlines about us and we get linked with moves that I can categorically deny.

“For example, we have not talked to Diakite. He is a Lazio player and won’t be coming to Juventus.”

Marotta also spoke about boss Antonio Conte’s appeal to the TNAS tribunal, set for September 21, in his effort to get his 10-month touchline ban scrapped or reduced.

“We are super optimistic about the TNAS hearing,” he noted.

Great.

Dread to think of what Marotta would offer for someone with 6 months left on their contract, but it would be really cool if we got him in January. Doubt it'll happen.
