Stick with Matri, or give Quag a chance. Hardly ideal, I know, but Borriello is a tool.
Sell Matri, Quag and Gio, buy Llorente and Jojo. Llorente will be done in 'bout 4-5 years he'll do good., at that time Boakye is going to explode into a WC striker that puts Higuain, Cavani,RVP,etc to shame and Immobile would be on par with the Higuain's. Jojo would blossom into a real world class trequarista that will set Europe ablaze like Del Piero. I just had vision.

Dude, We are talking about last season. Get with the program Bro.

I like how you are thinking, but such wholesale changes are unlikely, seeing as we have only 18 days left in the Mercato. As for Boakye, don't get your hopes up; same with Gabbiadini and Immobile. My Italian neighbor says we should've bought Destro, and that we shall regret it :sigh:

Why did I have high hopes of signing a WC striker at the end of last season? All a huge disappointment...

Quick q - when does the mercato window close - end of the month?

i think some ppl would like the idea of signing llorente better if he went to real madrid/barca/manu etc first then come here for a cool 35-40mil...

we need goals..the guy scores goals...why go for a more expensive/complicated option if that option, if better, is only incrementally better?

llorente fits the mould of what conte defined as a 'top player'..not too expensive but is quality on the field to carry out the instructions of the coach in the system..

i know some of you want to run to your friends with a shiny van persie or dzeko or falcao after years of taking abuse from them but thats your issue to deal with..

forza llorente (if true)

Well, I'll try to be realistic here. Trying to think how Marotta does - that's what's going to happen:

Finish Gabbiadini deal giving them half Troisi and loaning him out to Bologna;

Finish Poli deal getting him co-own and letting him play the next year in Sampdoria;

Loan Matri to Milan for 2M + option to buy 12M;

Sell Quags to Fiorentina for 1.5M + obligation to buy 5M;

Sell Ziegler for 2M in 2 installments to a 2nd class league;

Loan Masi out to Bologna/Pescara something like that;

Loan Boakye out;

Buy Llorente for 20M in 4 installments;

Buy Pazzini for 2.5M + option to buy 8M

Buy Peluso for 1M + obligation to buy 6M

So the team will be:

Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Isla, Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, Asamoah; Vucinic, Llorente

Storari; Litch, Lucio, Caceres, Peluso; Marrone, Padoin, Giaccherini; Pepe, Giovinco, Pazzini

Players seldom used: De Ceglie and Pogba
