I was hoping he'd come here in a year or two to be our Pirlo "replacement."
So the apparent twist in the market is coming thru Meelan. As part of the Ibra-Sikva deal, they seem to have a gentleman's agreement with Leonardo and PsG that they will lay off Verratti so Milan can strike a deal with Pescara and take him. My guess is though, with Poli being available, Milan might sign him.
On another note, I was just thinking, what if we went all out for a CF like Cavani, Higuain, RvP whatever, dropping our interest in JoJo, and traded Matri to Milan for Cassano. That way we get a line up that looks like this: Vucinic, Cassano, Quag, Giovinco and RVP. Does this make any sense?! Was just something that struck me. I'm not convinced about Cassano's fitness levels yet, but I think we could help him with that and more so, he easily has another three seasons of top level foot in him.

As long as we can get Armero, I'm afraid we have to sell to be able to get Jovetic. We have to give Viola about 18-20m in cash. They want to get Viviano + Cuadrado (the first will cost about 5m, the latter 10m).
I keep my fingers crossed for Melo, Ziegler and Pazienza deals cuz they're most likely to leave. Krasic is dumb thinking he can get to a top club after ridding bench for a year and probably will cause a lot of problems before he actually leaves.
