This is why I love you Nico.

Besides, if we can sign Robben & Jovetic, our attack is set for a long time. Spend our transfer kitty to upgrade Pepe once and for all (Robben) and sign Jovetic to fight it out of Vucinic (not sell Mirko of course, need depth for 3 comps)...not to mention, if we can get Dzeko we would be so much stronger in a 433 with him as long ST or a 352 if we keep using that as a backup formation with Dzeko-Jovetic or Dzeko-Mirko.

Dzeko can come on loan I think...and if the option to buy is there I am sure we would be more than willing to pay 10-12m up front to City to get him on loan then buy him the following summer. :dusan:

I see City splurging again this summer on whoever they can get...I don't see Dzeko waiting on stand-by.
Dzeko won't be loaned, but sold at around 18-20 million.

That would leave us money to potentially sign Jovetic.

Balotelli and Vucinic on the field at the same time will be risky. Really like Balotelli and if we can get him on a loan deal with the possibility of buying him if things goes well then Im all in for it.

Cavani is 20x the player dzeko will ever be...sorry hust
I would rather, as I said, use the money it would cost us to bring Cavani from Napoli and completely redo our attack. Pepe-Cavani-Mirko is not nearly as strong as a Robben-Dzeko-Jovetic trio.

Why ruin the harmony the squad has for some clown like Balotelli? If he were to ever wear the Juventus shirt, it would be a sad state of affairs for this club and it's values. Let the idiot play in the circus that is Milan and Inter.

You might be right, but I can see Marotta using his loan w/ option card this summer on him. Like I said, they might accept a small 10-12m fee for the loan w/ option then we just buy him outright the following summer.

Not buying Cavani isn't going to leave us with enough for Robben, Dzeko, and Jovetic.

Especially since Robben is worth as much and Jovetic is probbaly only 5m less. And you forget Giovinco :disagree:

I am saying spending 35-38m on Cavani doesn't make as much sense as spending 20-22m on Jovetic and another 20m on Robben. For a little bit more money (I am guessing, obviously) we an get two WC players and perhaps get a top striker like Dzeko on loan and pay for him the following summer.

Sorry Hust.

I would prefer Cavani because he is more complete however when you have options such as Dzeko available for probably half the price for a team who does not have the biggest transfer budget in the world, I think I know what Marotta is thinking.

We don't know if Robben will renew his contract. Man, that would suck for Bayern. If that is honestly the case, we could easily get Robben at a great price. I doubt Bayern would risk losing him for free the following year.

Robben earns too much for this Juventus. Also forget 30 million + players which Robben is. You have to factor in wages also.

Suarez, Dzeko, Jojo are realistic this summer.

Its not a fair comparison as the 1st trio would cost 40M while the 2nd would cost 70M
Just to make it fair
Robben Cavani Vucinic vs Robben Dzeko Jovetic

i think a lot of people overrate cavani here.

he's had two great seasons with napoli, but before that he wasn't anything to write home about, and this should make us a little cautious about spedning too much on him.

on the other hand dzeko has been impressive for more than just 1 club and his national team.

the overrating of cavani as this god like figure here reminds me of the overrating of diego. look at him now. meh with us, meh with woflburg, meh with porto, and meh with madrid, yet people still hail him becuase of his werder days.

Hmmmm. I still think Dzeko woulkd rip the nets apart next year for us. With as many chances as our strikers are getting this year (and wasting)...if we improve Pepe alone would give our strikers even more chances.

I like Cavani a lot...but I do agree with the overrating of him.
