Lets see, Pepe really doesnt have end product, not even close to being good crosser, far from a bull or that strong, more like stamina and runner not strenght (Valencia shrugs of defenders like they didnt touch him), being not great technically does not mean poor, Pepe's first touch is insanely bad. And finally he is the opposite of a good winger. Only thing that could be said for Pepe too in the above is hardworker.

Watching the Valencia video makes me dislike Pepe even more. Ugh

The only way that would ever happen would be if we were so far ahead on aggregate that we just rested players.

Never gonna give up on Pepe! Can't wait for the day he score at Bernabeu\Camp Nou\Allianz Stadium and celebrates with his golf swing. 
I can give you ton of examples about players benching better players, what does it mean ?
Pepe was our most instrumental player for a long strech too, we dropped the 4-3-3 because he was out.
Just because Valencia is having a good streches of good games that doesn't make him better than Nani. Like i said he may be a slight upgrade over Pepe, but he's similar to him as both are limited technically and both are known for their hard work, non stop running.
