A lot of people haven't hesitated in banding around the "world class" tag with Torres, so he's got to be blamed? I've already point out he's starting as the Chelsea centre forward which is his preferred role, so I don't know how he's being coached incorrectly. Ancelotti and Villas Boas should know what he's all about and what he is able to do, and the same goes for Drogba. They can't be telling him to play without making his Liverpool movement, or asking him to go into wider positions. You'd obviously want to play to suit someone that has proved he's a great goal scorer in the division.

Still the idea always was to make a deadly duo with Drogba, not to fight with him over a spot.

Regarding him mentally, it's not even an issue since he joined Chelsea. It's been an issue for nearly 2 years since he picked up the injury before the World Cup, and played through that with some poor performances for Spain. But some of these big misses he's had are quite shocking, confidence has to be a big part of it. I mean, 24 hours since his last goal is stupid.

Yes he had a bad WC because of injury, but I wouldn't read too much into it. alot of strikers, even the ones at end of your post, deal with them regularly. His lack of confidence however, did take huge blow after he moved to chelsea, and found himself in some difficulties and at the same time liverpool ,with some changes, 'looked' competitive again, the reason why he left them at the first place. .

It's not a case of disliking Torres, it's a case of disliking all these factors that go into the magnitude of the risk Juventus would take with purchasing him. I haven't even mentioned the ridiculous money he's on, which is something Juve simply cannot afford at the moment. It's more than double what Amauri was receiving, and we all know people didn't hesitate to complain at that every year, seeing a significant pay cut would be unlikely (and idealistic). I don't know why it seems ridiculous to some (not blaming you for this) to have major doubts of someone playing as such a shadow of his former self, who will be still remain pricey.

Anyway, the future of these three players interests me the most this summer: Van Persie, Higuaín, Džeko

Obviously if he was to come here, he should take a massive pay-cut, same goes with Dzeko.
and to bolded players, not sure if we'd be able to enter a bidding war for them tho.

He certainly isn't slow, either. He is everything we need in a striker right now. Clinical, efficient, and can use any part of his body to score goals. He is smart and his movement in the box is phenomenal. He knows exactly where to be. Plus is he quite powerful.

We already have a striker with them characteristics, we need someone in the Aguero mould. I would take Higuain over Dzeko anyday, and 3 times on a Sunday. As for Trez, he had movement that Matri & Dzeko couldn't even dream of. Them two are dogshit compared to Trez.

He's without a doubt my favorite striker at the moment and surely first on the list. He's just amazing.

But yeah, I highly doubt he'll leave Atletico any time soon. Maybe in 2-3 years.

I'd be against signing Dzeko, he's no quicker than Matri and Matri is just as good a finisher from what I have seen of Dzeko lately, what we desperately need is an explosive striker in the RVP, Benzema, JoJo, Lavezzi mould. No more lumbering strikers.

I think Barca, Real, Chelsea and City will all bid for him. He'll probably be the hardest player to get alongside Neymar in the summer, IMO.

Fuck Van Persie! He'll get broken in training! He's an AMAZING player but just like Robben he isn't someone you could rely on to carry you the entire season. He'll just snap in multiple pieces.

Cavani and or Benzema are the best strikers we can get in my opinion, but they're near impossible. If we have the opportunity to splash 40+mil on them we shouldn't even hesitate, they can become our Nedved, Buffon type of signing.

It's gonna come sooner than later and besides he's rather old 28-29 not too sure. I'd rather Cavani or Benz who are younger than 25 and simply killing it for their teams.

I don't think he'll stay in England if he moves this summer, due to the amount of love he has for Arsenal? So that leaves Spain or Italy. If Juventus qualify for CL and show the money, then there's a chance he could come to Turin, but I won't hold my breath.
