I don't see an excuse for him drifting out wide and out of goalscoring opportunities which he found at Liverpool.
Maybe he's instructed to drift wide because of Drogba? for example, don't know if you noticed but against napoli he came on and played in stturidge place which was pretty much right side of their 4-2-3-1..

Most of the time he's playing as a centre forward with Sturridge and Mata in support, and as an alternative to Drogba. I thought he was alright when he came on against Napoli.

Alternative to Drogba,yes.

The thing is it's easy to just say he is mentaly week, when no one blames chelsea staff in their failure of utilizing both drogba and him, and now a 50 mil striker is getting a bench role or has to play wide with drogba in eventhough they both like to roam in center and have all the space for themselves.
we don't even consider what kinda pressure a player go through in different circumstances. just look at the stats.

or all of sudden he's lost his sense of positioning as if we're talking about Caceres who's been always like that all his career and just started to learn.

I usually rate your views on players Salv, but in this case you see Torres done and you would pass, fair enough, but IMO he's far from a finished article and just needs a change of scenery. better alternatives to torres? there are some, yes, but considering our power in market, we should jump on the chance as soon as became available.

Džeko said that talk about him leaving M.City is nonsense, he score goals and he is happy.
Of course he have to say that.

If he says 'I hate this because Mario throws tantrums yet always starts ahead of me' it would lead to a bad situation.

This is how his last 3 months have been. He rarely starts. When he does, it's because Balotelli is suspended for latest incident at a strip club or for red card. His head has dropped, his touch went to shit with his confidence after Mancini benched him for no reason. Against Sporting first leg he couldn't place a 5 yard pass, he looked like a man who is out of favour and out in the summer. Believe me, I know what a player looks like who has come to the realisation that the manager will never pick him 1st choice again. Mancini describes Mario as his 'child', he will always be the favourite no matter how many red cards or bad forms he has. Mancini now brings back Tevez, a man who publicly humiliated him, rather than pick Dzeko on regular basis. Unless he goes Ronaldo level in the next few weeks, he is out in the summer.

How is Dzeko? He cannot play in a system where he is expected to move around and dribble like Aguero and Silva. That is what he is expected to do now. Give him a cross into the box, he will score like crazy.

Let me put it this way. He has scored 18 goals and is a bench player. He scores 18 goals OUT OF FORM. Imagine what he could do playing regularly at Juve. Torres... WTF. He misses open nets. Why you want him? He will cost 25 million and will never be healthy again. He lost so much pace that shit defenders can shut him down.

Guaranteed if you bid 20m euro he will be sold. Guaranteed.

Bundesliga made Dzeko look better than he really is. He is slow, has a horrible first touch.. anything but technical and his finishing has dropped (probably because of confidence). I am 100% behind Mancini as Balotelli, Aguero and Tevez are all miles ahead of him in terms of quality.

I'd rather get Tevez than Dzeko to be honest (even though he is older). I think we need a technical player that can also score shitloads of goals and Tevez is better than him on both accounts. RVP > Dzeko (although his injury record worries me). Torres will only come on loan or extremely cheap.. chelsea cant convince anyone to buy him otherwise so I wouldnt say no to him.

If only that cunt Aguero had chosen us over City. He would have been perfect.

I'd say yes to Dzeko knowing what we might end up with having Marotta doing the deals. Don't get me wrong, I would pick other strikers ahead of Dzeko too but really, we might end up with players like Maxi Lopez or whatever..

Anyway, I have not really seen a "wish formation" from you, so who would you want in attack (4-3-3) ?.. Just curious :)
Buffon

Licht - Chiellini - Barzagli - Kolarov

Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio

Lavezzi - Higuain - Giovinco/Mirko

If there's more :money: then Howedes for CB if not Vertonghen. If Lavezzi isn't available I'd try to sign Hulk or James Rodriguez. For the left side Ayew is a great option.

you thought marco motta was a good player and that ranieri was an idiot for benching him at roma. Your opinion on football is invalid[COLOR="Silver"
Blow me.
