Lavezzi loves to run with the ball. He needs space and half the pitch for him to express his qualities. We like to pin down teams, so Lavezzi would have little room to manouvre in, thus limiting his impact. Lavezzi would play competently, sure, but I dont think he'd be the best fit for Conte's side.

We need someone with a high production rate, be it assists or goals. So Hamsik or Cavani would fit in better.

But then again, we aren't purchasing Lavezzi for the CF position, but to replace Pepe. He is also a solid finisher.

Suarez over Lavezzi any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. Suarez can actually score goals, and save them too

Looked wasteful almost every time I've seen him this season, needed quite a lot of shots for a goal. I wouldn't play him as a centre forward, better in the role Vucinic has.

Suarez is a bit less wastefull than Vucinic fyi. I've watched almost every game he's played for Lpool and he needs about 2-3 chances to bag 1 goal.
