What did you guys think of Lavezzi's comments the other day? Praising Conte and all? Man he'd be great here.
Lavezzi at Juventus intrigues me because he's a talented player but not as much as Suarez does. Suarez seems to have an incredible drive to prove himself and to win games. I think that's what another person was referring to when he/she said that he reminded them of ADP.

Suarez is too good of a player to be wasting away at a club that doesn't have CL football.

Suarez and Lavezzi would be super sexy.

Higuain on the bench for Madrid again.

Bring him Beppe!
Higuain could be a very realistic possibility if Madrid decide to go after Van Persie or Kun Aguero this summer. Otherwise, I don't think he'll leave Madrid. He's a captain there and gets as much playing time as Benzema.

why would city sell kun in the summer? this summer will be a tale of whether Torres leaves chelsea and decide to replace him with Higuain and we go for Torres, if Torres doesn't leave then i think we stand in good stead of doing business with Madrid as Marotta seems to have a good relationship with them.

I beg to differ. I think our transfer budget can only increase with the maximization of revenue from our stadium, competing in the CL, and better marketing of the Juventus brand. I think we can expect a transfer budget of 50 Million Euros each summer mercato for the next 3 seasons.

Suarez 30
Jovetic 30
Gotze 30

That leaves us with 60 Million Euros to spend on 2 defenders, and a midfielder.
But Marrota will never spend all our cash on just 2-3 players, he will just buy more mediocre players.
Its not only that he doesnt want, he cant buy the premium material...
Never did in his entire life, never will.
Our board will demand new SSs and CMs and they will demand at least half of them to be Italian, Conte will settle with Giaccherinis.

Even so, we can have a top competitive team with Rossis if we play our cards right.
Napoli and Udinese in Europe are not half bad. We will never be Barca Man UN or Real, not even Man City, but if Napoli can do it, so can we!
As far the Juventus we once were, forget it, we had top minds leading it, they optimized our resources, but we can settle with a decent compromise.

Sad thing is that in a weird way Cronios is right. Whats more FFP rules would not turn the tide in a direction we would want to. We were better than Barcelona /for example/ in Moggi's days and we have a chance to be that now, if... say, the Agnelli family puts all the efforts/ca$h/required. Within the era of FFP that wouldn't be possible. Whats more, it seems we would be below or at the level of clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea, because football is getting much less about the adventure or the sport, rapidly turning itself into an exclusively money-driven activity and financially we are kind of shaky.
Lets hope UEFA would supply quotas of some kind, or try to separate the countries somehow based on financial indicators or so, because apart from Real M, Barcelona, british clubs and Bayern I am not seeing anyone else able to compete. And if Real Madrid has gotten 9 CL's in an age where wonders are still possible, I expect in a similar time after FFP they would amass 19 at least.
FIFA and UEFA are doing such an amazing job.

Fuck the FFP. I'm sure, just like in all other aspects of life, if you powerful enough, or have enough clout, you can bend the rules to suit your needs. Creative accounting, owners paying up, etc...
Having your board "promise" to invest a billion dollars in infrastructure to let you off the hook when it comes time to monitor self-sufficiency.

Vucinic has been playing like Cack lately.

IN:
Jovetic (25M)
Boriello (8M)
Caceres (8M)
Ramirez (10M)
Giovinco (8M)
Quality/Decent CB/LB (8M)
Total: 67M

OUT:
Krasic (10M)
Melo (12M)
Pepe (10M)
Martinez (2M)
Motta (2M)
Iaquinta (2M)
Esti (no option to buy)
Del Piero (free)
Grosso (free)
Amauri (free)
Total: 38M

38M + 25M = 63M

Goalkeepers: Buffon, Storari, Manninger
Defenders: Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Chiellini, De Ceglie, Caceres, CB/LB*
Midfielders: Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio,Ramirez, Giaccherini, Marrone, Padoin
Forwards: Matri, Quagliarella, Boriello, Giovinco, Jovetic, Vucinic

Buffon
Lichtsteiner Barzagli Chiellini De Ceglie
Vidal Pirlo Marchisio
Ramirez Matri Jovetic

If those sales were true, our forward depth would be great, our midfield depth would be average, and our defender depth would be poor/decent.

We're missing a quality midfielder to rotate with the starting 3. It would also be nice to get a quality defender valued at around 8M that could be an alternative for a center back and left back position.
