Lot of people consider Marotta as the single person with the big plan.

However, he only executes the task the board gives him, and as of this season coöperates with conte to get the correct player

in his first year, the objective was to rejuvenate the team, lower the wage bill, build a new base.
that wasent his big plan, that was his objective given by the board

during the winter, he wasent given a budget. He maganed to snap gems like barzagli to fix the defence, and matri for the attack.

second year, the board brought a real coach, and marotta analysed the base, and filled the gaps with vidal, pirlo, lichtsteiner. he was allowed to sign a profilic forward with a relatively low budget, therefore it had to be a commercial succes (rossi in italy, aguero), but when that failed, we spend what we could to sign vucinic

that worked, now comes current summer.

both the board and marotta acknowledges that our base is pretty good, we have a superior midfield and defence, but lack up front. however, we have plenty of quantity with vucinic/pepe/giac/esti as wingers and matri/quag as central attackers.
there is no need to buy more base, and we can all rest assured that his new objective will be to sign a serious upgrade for the frontline.

so far marotta has allways delivered what the board asked of him, wether us fans liked it or not. however, the current summer, should be the one were his task is what so many people here want : sign that massive forward, but dont overpay

a few months from now, we will know what strikers are realistic for us to get

Said (repeated?) he'd very much like to go to England recently.
we would very much like to give him monies to come turin.

in any case, i think one of Cavani or Hamisk would be nice.

I would be very happy if we Hamsik here. Finally we can have that fucker scoring for us, as opposed to against us.

You got Giovinco in the wrong slot, and Martinez, Grosso, and Iaquinta should be fucking off!

Oh, and we aren't selling 4 players for a combined total of 8 million. Giovinco's half alone is worth between 3.5 and 5 million I believe, if not more.

In the world of transfers, keyplayers arent sold at their correct value, especially to direct competition

therefore cavani wont come under 45mil, if they want to talk at all

and i doubt we can get jovetic under 30 mil

 The russian side of him counter balances the errors of his nigerian side

Yes ! lets get rid of half the squad, and replace gio with a ramirez who's stats are much less impressive!

Great work!
half the squad? Yes, because krasic, melo, iaquinta, ziegler, motta, grosso etc are regular starters right?

Ramirez will soon be much better than Gio will ever be. Ramirez would be doing much better than Giovinco in Parma if he had a whole team built around him so he doesn't cry like the little baby that he is.

I don't understand this hate you have for Gio. I guess it's the kid in you ID :p

In all honesty, bringing back Gio here, to be used in rotation with Ramirez and Vuci would do more good than harm. I'm sure Conte can, and will, manage him better than all those turds we had as coaches before, particularly the plumber Del Neri, and the confectionery shop owner Zaccheroni.

Yes, because Parma bought Gio AND THEN bought everyone else...... Ramirez has the better squad around him and is given a free role, no excuses. And i misread the OUT part, sorry
