I want anyone that is more clinical than Matri...sometime when I watch some games and he misses simple opportunities I feel like throwing my macbook (that's where I watch my games on) on the wall! He's a good player, I like how he gets the players around him involved but dude misses TOO MUCH!

I wanna see one of Benzema, Balotelli or Cavani play for us. However all three will probably never play for us. One of our youth players excelling and overthrowing Matri would make me jizz sooooo much more than if we signed any of those three players.

Alright. So, mercato is over...only possible option left I guess is Krasic out back to Russia before the 24th.

This summer: Radja(10m), Kolarov (12m) (unless Caceres becomes a miracle LB), Jovetic(25m), Dzeko(30m)

Buffon
Licht-Barzagli-Chiellini-Kolarov
Vidal-Pirlo-Marchisio
Jovetic-Dzeko-Mirko

CL money could buy us most of this. :D

:numnum:
I agree with everything except for Dzeko.

personally I would rather have Cavani, especially if Napoli's fortunes keep playing out the way they have so far.

He is a year younger, just as prolific, and as evidenced by the last 2 years, is already well acclamated to Serie A.

I'd take Cavani in a heartbeat.

And the thing is, if they fail to qualify for CL, it could make it that much harder for Napoli to retain him.

Whereas with Dzeko, he is on a squad that can be described as one of the top 10 teams in the world, with an owner who will keep pouring money into the squad to keep them competitive. I think that it would be a much harder sell for Dzeko to come to Juve, because it could be theorized as a step down.

I'm really surprised that Cavani is not mentioned very much on people's wish list for a striker.

I think the strategy that Juve has to follow if they make the Champions league, is that they need to go after star players on teams who are struggling, such as a Jovetic and a Cavani.

Trying to get players from the Man City's and Real madrid's of the world are very tough to deal with, especially if those particular targets are part of the long term plans of those respective teams.

I think it's gonna be SUPER hard for us to get Cavani...probably just as hard as getting Dzeko. Cavani has a lot of admirers and most (namely Shitty and Chelski) would pay him and Napoli a lot more than we would. If he goes to shitty we can snatch Dzeko (or Balo ) or we can just get Jovetic which seems a bit more realistic.

I think that Napoli will not be playing CL next year, or again for a very long time. I don't see their top 3 wanting to stay when they could easily find a club that will have CL and pay them more than Napoli ever could.

Dzeko will always be a dream move obviously, buy I would take cavani in a sec. We are so damn close to having a team that could go far in the CL. 2 more key players minimum and we are there IMO.

I agree with the rest of your edits too.

We could easily build a fantastic team ready to take on Europe just by shopping I'm Italy: radja, Jovetic, lavezzi, and/or cavani...

Probably cheaper anyways to buy in italy

Why would it be cheaper? I suspect all other teams to ask more from us than from teams outside of Italy.

If they manage to keep their trio, I think they'll quickly be back in the CL. With a little bit of depth they can pose a pretty big threat in Europe. I rate this Napoli side a lot! They're just not used to play in so many competitions, it wasn't that long ago that they were in B and look at them now. They'll grow...hopefully the big three in Italy will be Juventus (undesputed numero uno), Napoli and Roma, fuck the milanese sides I want them to rot.

Could be... Normally I am not quickly influenced be such a thing... :boh:
Is it cause he's so handsome

It may not be cheaper, but there are built in relationships between Juve and clubs such as Fiorentina, Napoli, and Cagliari, et al, that would go a long way towards making the negotiating process smoother

They won't be stronger than Juve, Milan or Inter. I don't see them being anything more than the fluke they were last season.
