Sure there were and are great ones, its a league from a nation with the best players in the world. All I'm saying as a striker it isn;t too hard to hit double figures in the eredivise, the defensive aspect has been in huge decline for a couple of years now. Afonso Alves(34 goals), Kezman(35 goals) and Kuyt (29 goals once) wouldn't refer to these as good strikers.
