seems to me congrats are in order :D ... see, that's what you guys get for teasing me with Maxi f-ing Lopez :p

relax, though - Borriello could be very useful signing for Juve. Itdidn't work out for him at Roma but last season they were a circus and this year he never got a chance between injuries and whatnot.

He was, however, one of Milan's most important players under Leonardo and played as a big-bodied target man but also on the left of a front 3, which is what Conte seems to be going for these days. He is very hard-working player, only needs to feel important for the team and appreciated by the coach, and runs his ass off for the entire game - often you'd see him go back and defend in midfield and even as deep as RB and LB positions.
And, just for the record, Milan wanted to keep Borriello and sell Huntelaar but it was him who wanted out once Ibra and Binho arrived as he feared he'd rot on the bench had he stayed.

Obviously he isn't a star name but is a more versatile forward than Matri - can score, provide physical presence but also use his pace and decent technique and creativity too - and can run a lot more than Vucinic, who is gased by 60th-70th min when playing on the left and simply doesn't have the legs for that role. My guess is, with Borriello on the left, Conte would try using Vucinic in the center as a more creative version of Matri now.

I reckon you will end up losing one of Borrielo, Matri, Quagliarella at the end of the season - would use the 2nd half to figure out who, I guess - and go for a star-striker in the summer for the CL ... so you can relax, for now ;)
thanks for enlighting us more on the player borriello

reading that, one could conclude he'd put in the work of pepe, but has creativity, pace, some dribbeling skills

Borriello on the left? Why would that make more sense than any one of Quag, DP or even Pepe, Elia, Estigarribia?
wel, as acmilan puts it, he has pepe's workrate, esti's pace, more efficient dribbeling then elia, and more scoring ability then pepe

del piero on a top day is superior, but those are rare

If we signed DDR and a world class striker...I'd be cool with Bonucci staying and Chiellini as a LB. Wouldn't need a new CB. Not with Vidal/DDR trolling the midfield for 90 mins every game.

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barzagli - Chiellini - Caceres
Vidal - De Rossi - Marchisio
Vucinic - Quagliarella - Jovetic

Screw the winger tracking back obsession, players like DDR and Vidal should make up for it.

But who am I kidding. De Rossi would never, ever come.

because if you are gonna play Pepe on the right, playing Esti, Elia, etc would leave you with one striker only on the field. Vucinic just doesn't have the stamina to play out wide, DP even less so - he's played for what 30 min this entire season so far?

The only useful alternative from the one's you mentioned, which would allow Juve to have two strikers on the field, is Quagliarella, who I am not sure is there to stay, so a versatile striker like Borriello does make sense considering he won't be too expensive and it's not very easy to find available top players right now ... one's who aren't known as troublemakers, that is
But out wide would make him a winger. He's not good enough to be useful when he gets the ball out on the left. He's pretty much a target man; a different type of player is needed.

Vecchiasignora.com planning attack on his facebook Floro Flores style
I support them. You have a link to his official page?

:)

That would be a disaster for everyone in this league but us.
DDR would be too much for me to handle. I'd die of masterubation.
:agree:

I think when he watches us play and how hard we are to beat, dominate midfield and possession...I think deep down he would like to play here. :D

I beg to disagree. I have nothing but good things to say about Borriello in a Milan shirt and wouldn't mind him back one bit should we fail to get Tevez/Torres
