Hence, I said that besides a defender one player upfront could see us make that final jump. Someone who wins us matches indeed. A differencemaker in the form of opening up defences or a monster who always scores.
Thinking of the former, Sanchez would really have been the perfect player for this team. No wonder Conte wanted him badly.

Anyway, i'm not worried about performances like yesterday. As long as we keep playing well, the finishing will follow. Besides, we played yesterday without our prime finisher.

We don't have a game changer.

Milan have Ibra, Napoli arguably have Cavani, Barcelona have Messi amongst others, Madrid has Ronaldo and a couple more, City have Silva, Liverpool Suarez (we should have gotten him), United Nani/Rooney, Arsenal RVP, and Bayern have Ribery/Robben.

Has Simone "Tiger" Pepe slipped your mind?

Of all the names being bandied about, the one person I want, that can be labeled as a game changer, is Mario Gotze.

To be that young, that instrumental in his team's success in a great league, with that type of skill and football intelligence, is the only player that I would want that could carry on the traditions of the previous # 10's in the likes of Platini, Baggio, and Del Piero.

that is my guy right there.

I want us to sell some deadwood this transfer window, so us fans can start dreaming about other players. TBH I wouldn't even mind seeing some surprises (youngsters) making their way into the team. I hate the most that we have expensive deadwood, good for nothing except sucking money out of our club and we lack vital players that would make the starting 11 much better.

I know we won't see expensive players ,unless we loose some weight - so I wonna see it happening. Iaquinta, Amauri, Grosso, Motta -> They must be dealt with before the transfer window. One of the wingers is next if an appropriate offer comes along (and for krasic, i think it will - his agent must know sth).
Then we can get back some young guns like Immobile and think about this LB position without any financial limitations.
