I think Cissokho has been poor at defending for some time now. Amazing going forword though. He isn't the same as when he was at Porto or his first season at Lyon.

Some say he lacks motivation and demanded a transfer to Pool last summer.

Personally I dont think he's fapworthy. The only teams interested in him are Liverpool and Newcastle, says enough imo.

who is this gonalons? absolutely never heard of him..i feel so vulnerable..

the montolivo-iaq swap + money sounds a good deal...montolivo can be useful as pirlo-deputy especially for that cheap..if conte gets in his head he can be very good for us..

Liverpool bought Enrique from Newcastle lol. Newcastle is too small anyway.

The only other LBs (for a reasonable price) I'd consider would be Ansaldi and Mathieu. Alba is unproven and Coentrao and Alvaro Pereira would cost too much.

I agree that his defending isn't the best but I think he is really really good going foward, much better dribbling and crossing than Licht for example and his offensive abilities would cause problems for opposing right side players and would keep them pinned back more than if Chiellini were to be playing LB.

Promising young DM from Lyon. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if he came. He's only 22 or 23.

thanks..im all for youthful promising players...it will be good if we could basically have a core of players before season has ended and only add 1 or 2 UNDISPUTABLE QUALITY players in the summer...so when UCL rolls around (hopefully) our team will be more or less in sync

Cissokho has never really justified his price tag at Lyon. Had a decent first season and showed some promise, but after that he's been quite inconsistent. He's got a lot of energy and is very fast, but he's not the best defender and his crossing is quite poor too. Still he'd be an upgrade over the leftbacks Juve have, plus he'd allow Chiellini to revert back to his original position as a CB. For the right price i think he'd be a decent move. But only for the right price.
