I've never understood these rumors of scouts and directors going to watch a player live...will you learn that much form one game, isn't your general opinion already formed? It's not like hummels is an unknown up and coming talent in south america that requires you to go watch in person

yeah but going to the match live gives you a much better perspective than that if you watch on tv, you get a clearer picture of the player's off ball movement and how the team operates as a whole in comparison to our own to see if it is a good fit.
