Why not try Appelt for backup?

Buffon
Licht-Sakho-Chiellini-Ansaldi
Marchisio-Pirlo-Vidal
Giovinco-Matri-Mirko

Buffon

Marchisio-Pirlo-Vidal
Jojo-Matri-Mirko

:D
Don't put Giovinco on the right, he should be on the left. Vucinic has played on the right plenty of times with Roma.

Ganso. We are going to need a quality Pirlo replacement sooner or later.
Agreed. IMHO Ganso would be better than Neymar and could very well be better even than Pirlo ever was.

:D
We need more than a backup player. I am saying that cause a back-up in my mind is a player with no more than 10 games per season, most of which substitutes. And we can see that Pirlo is running out of energy these days, I can only imagine when we have two games per week, and the teams we are playing against (esp. CL) require a lot of running, not to mention Pirlo would be 1 year older.

if montolivo is free, then why cant we also get ganso ?

after a leftback, a future replacement for pirlo is important tho
Its just unsustainable. If we get a player like Ganso we would need Pazienza much more than we would need Montolivo. Both of them would make us a gorgeous midfield, but truth to be told we can barely afford that even if the attack and defence were fixed for the next few years (which they are not). But Montolivo for free isn't a bad proposal at all.

Well, this has gone full scale FM now.
Well, a transfer window is coming and we are leading the Seria A. I thought you are used to this? Although, last few years haven't been like that - lets hope this thread will get the A-names more often and they would sound more realistic by the day. :flag3:

I would have replaced Vucinic rather than Pepe. Pepe has no skills but contributes a whole lot more than Vucinic does.
Vucinic belongs to the best players in the world. His youtube compliation of horrible misses doesn't create the right image about him. I cant think of many players in Serie A that are so comfortable with the ball at their feet, dribble pass opponents, have an amazing shot and could play pretty much everywhere in attack.

Vucinic is the real deal

With Immobile as vice-Matri and Appelt as vice-Pirlo. I'd be happy with that for next season, to be honest.
