Rhodolfo and Dede, both we rejected.

It seems we watched Damiao quite abit aswell.
Its bizzare to reject Dede, when the period they were there, was when he was at his A game, Vasco is basically a midtable team usually, and he, as a defender, has been so vital that that he has taken them decisively this far with both defensive and offensive clutch performances. Seldom you see a CB do that.

You seem very clued on South America.
I am a Milan fan, ain't I

:D

How good are these two?
they are both pretty good, young players but it would be a guess more than anything to tell you if they will make it big in Europe. Of the two, I'd go with Elkeson but consider Oscar and Ganso as the two biggest prospects in Brazil in that role.
If there is a new Kaka coming out of there, I'd say that would be Oscar, as Ganso is a diff type of playmaker.

not over yet, I think - will know more in the winter or next summer.

Dede needs to polish his defending, especially positioning in the box, though - he often grabs the headlines with his offensive plays but is not as good defensively as TS was back at Fluminense ( I mention TS as Dede is often being described as the new Thiago Silva).
This being said, Dede has everything to become a great defender, at international level, within a couple of years ... maybe Nesta could help him with that :p

Rather sign Bonera, and there's no italian defender I found to be more overrated cack then Bonera in the last decade.
I'd agree, considering he is from the generation of defenders like Nesta, Canna, Maldini, etc. If I were to compare him to the current group, however, I'd say Bonera should be given a shot at a starting spot for the NT.

You are the one hyping frigging run of the mill Astori, and puke at Skrtel, who was pretty bossy vs Chelsea just yesterday.
Astori is a free agent in the summer. Hyping? Thiago Silva is hyped. Barzagli maybe be hyped atm. Benetia is still a big hype but Astori? Nah man
