Krasic, Pepe, Elia, Estigarribia are also part of our trident. And here I'm assuming that if the boards wants to get rid of Quag then they have someone like Jojo or Damiao in mind.
Why not get rid of Iaq, retard and Toni + Del Piero's departure and bring in one or two for them rather than replace a very capable forward.

He doesn't though. I mean, he's not your typical goalscorer in the middle and he's not a winger.
His form in Udinese's 4-3-3 was good enough to suggest he fitted in well enough, was important in the UEFA cup. To play in a 4-3-3 you don't have to be a winger, wide forward suits it like it does for Vucinic, Quagliarella pre injury was athletic enough for that role.

It all depends upon what formation we plan to use next season. If it remains 4-4-2 then it doesn't really make sense to sell Quagliarella at this time.

If the plan is a strict 4-3-3 then I could see Quagliarella being sold but I would be shocked if it was to make room for someone like Jovetic. We'll probably spend half the summer looking at unrealistic targets and end up with Giovinco.

I can't see why it would change from a system with 3 midfielders. Our midfield is our strength and is a defining characteristic of this squad. I doubt Conte will change that. Quag can still be played at any position upfront.

And thinking of Quag at viola makes me feel ill.

If we get Champions League next season I'm pretty sure we'll get Giovinco back no matter what. With Agnelli having discussions and Leonardi talking about the potential return of Giovinco to Juventus all the time I think its pretty certain Seba will be back. Plus Seba offers youth which is something I think Marotta is looking for.

LW: Giovinco, Esti/Elia
CF: Matri, new player
RW: Vucnic, New player, Pepe

I honestly hope we don't even spend that much money on our trident next season. Get Seba back and spend the big money to fix the rest of our defense. Its time to finally have a back 4 without a weak link. Its been 5 years now..

Giovinco :inter:

I hope Krasic regains form but otherwise I'd go for someone like Gaston Ramirez or someone else

RW: Krasic, Ramirez, (Pepe)
ST: Matri, Quag (Vuci)
LW: Vucinic, Elia, (Pepe)

Krasic on form>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>bald midget boy

Add Ansaldi and a CB (Vidic? - star signing) and that's a very strong team. If Krasic regains form of course. I think Conte will push him extra hard now and we may see some improvement soon.

5 midfielders will be enough too with starting 3 + pazienza and Gabriel. Ramirez can play in the centre too.

Besides your unreasonable hate for Giovinco, we already own 50% of him so unless we want to do bad business and let go of that other 50% to accommodate you and your hate for Seba he will be back here whether you like it or not. Also Seba and Krasic are not competing for the same spot so no use in comparing them.

Or we could sell our half for like €6-8m and buy Ramirez instead. Not a very big half though :D.

What would 6-8 million do us, really? Seba has the potential to be worth around 20 million. We're not in a position to say no to young and talented players to raise our quality, get both. I'd much rather see us pay the 8 million and have him here then see Parma selling him off to another team.

As I said, bring them both. And, honestly, what makes Seba worse than Ramirez for you to want to ship him off to get Ramirez? If anything Giovinco has been better this season.

One of Elia or Giac needs replacing.

He's turns 29 in January. And I don't see him as a starter in Juventus. Might as well sell him since none of departing strikers Iaquinta, Amauri, Del Piero and Toni will bring us anything.

He doesn't though. I mean, he's not your typical goalscorer in the middle and he's not a winger.

Funny thing is, before he was moved closer to the goal in a 4-4-2 a lot of people here were bashing him. Then he started scoring goals and now people think he will do the same as a winger.
Anyway. I like him and we should get rid of Iaq, Amauri and Toni before we even think of selling McNulty. I agree with Kyle. No point selling him if we switches to a 4-4-2.
