Blah, blah, we have Roonie the best forward, and Gerrard an' Lampard mate. Best midfieders in the world, them lot.
gerrard and lampard still play ?

rooney, you mean the little one that tend to fail with his national team, and has never won any topscoring title or any reward at all outside the epl ?

Of course.

And yes, Rooney is the best. Can Pazzini or Balotelli do a bicycle kick like that? I don't think so, love. And he won the Champions Leagues on numerous occasions.

I hope you're not serious...Rooney is worse than Messi, Ronaldo, Eto'o and probably Villa, Ibra and Tevez. Gerrard and Lampard? Not even best in EPL. Silva, Nasri, Toure, Modric, Van Der Vaart and Essien are way better.

Gerrard's last season was under Rafa and they finished second. In that year's form he easily shits on all those mentioned here, especially essien who is very talented but spent all his career injured.

despite cronaldo, nobody of that list comes even close to the ligue 1 list, seriously

essien, maicon, ronaldinho
have driven their sides to years of trophee's, beeing the best of the world in their position for several years

henry, drogba
beeing iconic aswel

funny fact, you forgot luis figo, probably the best portugeese player ever.
.
mentally, cr7 is a boy compard to him.
he also had like tripple the trophees
Carvalho is without any fucking doubt as iconic as those you put there. In terms of wingers and right now, Nani is just after Robben and CR (if we consider him as one). Coentrão, David Luiz and Falcao are yet to have their time. Pepe and Di Maria are still at the top stages. Just like Bosingwa and Deco were, for example.

How is it possible to "nobody, except Ronaldo, coming even close" to the likes of Mexes, Taiwo, Rami, Malouda, Diarra, Gervinho, Ayew, etc, etc? Stop trolling please.

It's not a funny fact, no, it's just that I decided to put only transfers since 2000. Henry, for example, is from the 90s. Like Figo and Rui Costa. You could say that I forgot Paulo Ferreira and I'd agree with you. In the last ten years, Portugal owned France in terms of exported talent. Overpriced talent, but still world class talent.

Figo is a gentleman, but are you simply implying that CR is mentally weak?
About the trophies... you really shouldn't use hat argument much more times.

P.S.: I'm a follower and a fan of Ligue 1 and its talent, but the gap you and other people put between it and the portuguese league sounds just ridiculous to me. IMO, portugese league exported more and better talent than Ligue 1, but not much more. I accept who prefer Ligue 1 talent, but there's really no gap between both leagues, as you tried to show.
