overrated and overpriced many of them, as well as moving on to flop in many cases, coentrao looks to be the latest victim
What the fuck?

Dude, France and Ligue 1 produced far more talent that Portugal. Ayew, Essien, Drogba, Henry, Evra, Maicon, Ronaldinho, Nasri, Sagna, Benzema, Mexès, Abidal, M.Diarra, Malouda, Taiwo, Hazard, Gervinho, Adil Rami, Mexès, Ribéry.
The finest African players started their career/made their breakthrough in Europe at Ligue1.
Simão, Nani, CRonaldo, Carvalho, Pepe, David Luiz, Ramires, Coentrão, Di Maria, Bosingwa, Lucho, Lisandro, Meireles, Falcao, Anderson, Deco, Alvaro Pereira, Moutinho, Gaitan, Hulk, James...

Overpriced, not overrated.

despite cronaldo, nobody of that list comes even close to the ligue 1 list, seriously

essien, maicon, ronaldinho
have driven their sides to years of trophee's, beeing the best of the world in their position for several years

henry, drogba
beeing iconic aswel

funny fact, you forgot luis figo, probably the best portugeese player ever.
.
mentally, cr7 is a boy compard to him.

Nobody is doubting Ligue 1 and it's talents but someone stated that Portugal can't come even close, and that is simply no true. Portugal is almost as good as France, and maybe in last few seasons it owns France.
