And if we want to succeed in CL, we need world class strikers. Right now we don't have any.

First of all why are you talking about victory's in the champions already?? we only played 1 game, let's take it easy after the last 2 horrible years shall we :klin: And no world class striker???? Than what are Vucinic, Matri and Quagliarella?? Medio players?? don't think so. Give em some time bro;)

Why were Lyon seemingly open to negotiate with Newcastle for Cissokho in the summer? Isn't he a key player for them?
With Liverpool also. It seems that Lyon needs cash. So he's attainable.
Correct me on this Fred or anyone who "really" followed Lyon closely for the past years, whenever I've seen Cissokho playing for lyon atleast last season he seemed rather average!

His crosses at times seemed awful, the only thing that stood out for him is the incredible stamina that he had running up and down the line non stop (molinaro had a great stamina too :shifty: ). Every time I hear people rating him I wonder did I miss his best games ?!

Yeh he loves America..and money ofcourse so he will go there..after a few years he will be back as a member of the board or staff:spliff:
Yea forget Beckham and Henry. DP should be disgustingly rich.
You lucky fuck!

But as he said, his wife decides :D
He's coming, I can feel it. Just so I get to see him play before he retires.

I watch Lyon from time to time, Seen Cissokho many times even with Porto, I also think his offensive game is average, His defence is superb, Could shut down any player, like you said his stamina is great, speed, strength. But still his offensive game is what seperate him from the best FB in the world.

That's why I find it odd that everyone despretly wants him here, probably they rate him based on his reputation more than anything else.

He's definitely better than all of our left-backs but Lyon paid around 15 mil for the guy. They won't sell him for less than that and for that kind of a price I'd rather we get someone who would contribute a lot more to our attack than he does.
