As long as we buy a competent left back if not a very good one. Finally, after Lichtsteiners performance today people are starting to realise the importance of full backs especially in the system we currently play. The only way to press and keep possession well is if we have good full backs to hold the ball in our offensive half with the center midfielders and at the same time, assist wing play.

Its such an issue because our squad is too large as it is. We actually need to thin our squad out slightly. Once we have a complete team (if that ever happens) we won't be spending 80M each mercato and can probably spare more money for wages.

It's not that we can't afford very competitive wages. It's that such a huge portion of the budget is so misappropriated.

As much as I disliked him, I think Pepe deserves a place in this team. His tireless running will be always be handy to have. Toni should stay until we get another foward. The rest can fuck off.

Genoa wanted him(Rhodolfo) in the past but his non-EU status got in the way. I read an article saying he might have got a European passport not too long ago but I'm not sure if that news is true.
