No problem, it just annoys me that people are already saying we'll end up 6th while not even one match is played.
I remember the season when we brought Diego and Melo, eveyrone was saying we'll be title contenders and we did great transfer and then ending up 7th.
Transfers can fail, they can succeed, no one can tell, especially not considering not one match has been played.

Take for example Villa to Barca, should be a great transfer but looking at the goals he scored, it doesn't even come close to the Villa from at Valencia.
Or Torres to Chelsea.

IMO it is rediculous to judge the team already, if the season is a failure, I will also be critical, but in advance, I always think it will be ok, it's not like we sold players like Nasri, Fabregas and replaced them by Benayoun's (to give another example).

Says nothing IMO, f.e. the Coppa America players were missing.
The teams weren't complete.
The new players need to learn to play togheter first.
Fitness isn't 100%.
In our case, the coach needs to bring his ideas over to the squad.

Everyone is telling me we have a better defence than Napoli and Lazio, who both finished higher than us last season. We've only added Lichty to our defence (who Im a masive fan of) and he if he's to get injured? And if De Ceglie gets injured? Motta and Grosso again.

Our defence besides two players, still generally sucks. We dont have a better defence than Napoli or Lazio, and even Roma for that matter. Stop dreaming and face reality.
The defense isn't just the four players on paper, it's also other players and how they move as a unit. For example Ranieri could organise a defense, whereas Delneri couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

Did Pool strike a first option deal on Hazard through the loan on Cole and the 60 percent continual wage they will be paying during? Pretty magnificent deal if it is true... well done. Marotta: Cole is as useless as Motta but how come Pool can strike such a sweet deal and all you can accomplish are releases from contract's - at the best? I mean, sure Grosso, Amauri, Iaquinta and so on are useless but I'd still prefer them to Cole because of his wage and because he's always injured and he's been out of form for some time now. I'm aware this could be said about a lot of the potatoes we have as well but Cole is still worse IMO even though he's talent is superior. But you're still unable to convert anyone of them into a deal - unlike others...

You do know that players you mentioned all refused every offer they got and all preferred to stay at Juve and DONT play. I agree that Cole is as useless as Mota, Amauri, Iaquinta, Groso and etc, but at least he accepted to move somewhere else, he knew he is not wanted at Pool and left. Our garbage knows very well that no one wants them at the club, but they are all leaches who enjoy their ridiculously huge wages and wont even think about moving to other club till their contracts expire... Absolute scumbags...

According to sources in belgium, they didn't negotiate a first option.

Thanks for that example :D

But i do agree with you, people are a bit too fast to jump the gun here, though i guess finishing two seasons in a row in 7th place could do that to you. A lot depends on Conte, and how good a manager he turns out to be. All in all i think Juve have a decent enough squad to end third. Though i'm surprised to see you guys didn't go for a centerback, the defense will probably be the real concern for you guys.

So last year compared to this:

Last year:

Storari

Motta-Bonucci-Chiellini-Grosso

Krasic-Aquilani-Melo-Marchisio

Del Piero-Quag

This year:

Buffon

Licht-Bonucci-Chiellini-De Ceglie

Krasic-Pirlo-Vidal-Elia

Matri/Quag-Vucinic

The first squad was second at Christmas. The second one for me is a massive improvement in certain areas. So I can't see why we cannot replicate the same feet.

Our defence was very leaky because both Chiellini and Bonucci got sucked outside due to the fullbacks not doing a good job. I expect them to be more solid this year so it leaves Bonucci and Chiellini to occupy the centre.
