As everyone could expect at the end of the mercato our options for CB gets worse and worse. Started mercato with big dreams and ending it with Marotta level signings.

Astori is not as bad defender as all you guys think. I have heard a lot of positive comments about him couple of month ago when he was linked with us first time. Anyway, I wonder if there isn't glowing in Conte's mind idea to let Chellini play as a LB and get another 2 central defenders instead of Ziegler and Bonucci. That's why we have accepted Turks proposal. I dont belive that total squad-outcast Grosso will come back again to starting lineup. It would be nigthmare.

didnt chiello go on record the other day as saying he is not and will not be used as a lb and got no indication from conte that he may be played there..

wat point is it playing 3 cb's out of 4 out there and someone or sometwo of them gets injured?
