AND.. our entire LW are so far pure shit and the only winger who seems likely to arrive is Gia-who?
Unless Marotta is pulling a "Hazard" on the final day - a player soooo good that it won´t matter he can´t speak Italian and never played/met his teammates - let alone getting used to a new tactic/league - we should have bought another CM weeks ago and started playing 4-3-3 in pre-season.
Honestly, I would be satisfied if we bought Gaston Ramirez and kept Paquato on the final day of the mercado, but if it did happen, which it aint, we should still have bought Gaston weeks ago. That LW would be very inconsistent the first many weeks of the campaign, but would increase eventually.
Now.. If we buy that Gia-something - probably loaning Pasquato out and keeping Pepe as sub - that sure tells me that this management is exacly what most of us fears - a bunch of freakin´ CLOWNS.
To me, the only way our management can prove otherwise will be, if we land some LW-star.
Giving the short time left to adapt, we need a player that is above Bastos/Vargas quality which it seems now we can´t even pull off.
The best players available on the market - for us, to me, are CMs which means shifting to 4-3-3, which means we have wasted our pre-season.
(Sissoko, M´vila, Asamoah, Gago, Banega etc. might be willing to transfer to us, and for a fair price too)
To sum up - we are screwed...
Additional... to my knowledge we still haven´t offloaded Amauri, Iaquinta, Grygera, Motta, Pepe, Martinez, Grosso etc.

Its not just about who we sign Husti. Its also about who we GTFO. And right now, we need at least 6 players to be gotten rid of. I think its absolutely unbelievable Marrotta hasn't prioritised this. Shocking really. So now we're not only expecting to sign a few players but also expecting to get rid of a few in this time. Honestly, I think that's a huge task in itself, and it only gets bigger for a guy like Beppe.
