I know what u mean but i don't think BMG sees Wolfsburg as a direct competitor, because (at least) ambitious and moneywise Wolfsburg has other demands and opportunities. They know that Marco's value is going to grow further so why sell him now?
Plus the biggest obstacle is his own unwillingness to leave the club
