I meant in general. It's no longer "The Beautiful Game." Players care about the money more than their love for the game, greedy owners and clubs.
It's borderline unfair with the way some teams are killing the competition by hoarding players. It's just a big business.

Football in general is low on quality since 2006. I am not saying it because of us sucking after it, but 90's and pre 2006 was amazing. Real Madrid galacticos, Barca il chokeros, Italian teams beasting each other. Now it's all dull.

I can't really comment on the subject.(On the IPhone & watched football from 2000 and up) but it's become more or less like a business. Club looking to become brand names in households everywhere, & trying to win on all fronts with money. Also the game become more fast pace with teams trying to emulate the Barca style of playing. In hopes of winning & attracting fans, I feel some teams are losing their idenity, and what makes them, well..... them.

From a neutral perspective it's better. Barca is probably the strongest team to ever play it and even has an attractive style. It has gotten even more flashier and there's less big teams to follow or basically only two important leagues.

To us, it's not.

WC notwithstanding, club football has become more appealing. I barely remember 98 so I couldn't compare that to the more recent ones.
