I was so against Rossi coming here when Aguero was available but now that I see how people react when we finally have a chance of getting a quality player.. I want him even more.. I can understand Andy not wanting him and some other Americans as well since I too think he's a clown for not playing with the US NT but what about the rest of you guys? Whats wrong with getting a quality player like Rossi? Its not like we have quality in this team or can pick and choose. Rossi, Vidal and Vucinic this season, someone else next season and somebody else the season after that and we'll have a good squad built around actual good players and not guys like Pepe, Motta and Toni.

Rossi would have been great if we didn't have 7 forwards and 1 competition to play them in. Aguero was on a different level and would have made this team better, just by being on the pitch. If we can spend 25+ mils and 5 mils per year salary for rossi - we could do better with our LW and LB as a matter of fact. Why don't we get Hazard or Mata instead of Rossi? They aren't 'italiEns' , right? Aguero might not have been world class, but he was as close as we could get - rossi on the other hand is good, but not good enough to justify making space for him in this team. If we can give them Quag and lets say 10 mils its a different story, but it looks quite unlikely that both player and club will accept it. On top of that we can't sell Amauri and Iaquinta and we think that DP will be satisfied to play 1 game in the new stadium and retire...

We're sooo gonna buy Rossi and sell Quag late in August.

And that's gonna be fine if by then or until September 1st we add at least two quality players in defense and LW. Ideally, we'd add a LB, CB, LW and then Marotta can do whatever the fuck he wants and buy whoever the fuck he wants, even if he overpays for that player.
