Well my rating system is not as complicated as yours - average, above average and so on.

When I am rating Juve's squad I am always looking at Inter and Milan in Italy and other top clubs around Europe.

But I'm happy for you if you're satisfied with the strenght of our squad while comparing it to the likes of Genoa.
I'm not necessarily happy about our current squad. But that's because I want Juve to challenge for the Title.

But to call our squad mediocre based on the players individual quality is just wrong. But I can agree to the fact that we got too many mediocre players in our squad.

Holy shit you're not for real. Rest of the post disregarded without reading.
Since when Vidal is a proven WC player??
Heck, even a proven and consistent player that can make a difference in a top club vs wc competition??
Cronios I was talking about this year.
Vidal is one of the best young CM's going around I am not really sure what more else you wanted there. Pirlo although older is still one of the best passers of the ball in the game and something we really needed.
Who would you have gotte Cron?
We need to stop looking to this season and see the big picture, we are chasing impossible goals,no one can make a champions team within a year, not even if he has unlimited money, that has been proved by Chelsea and Man city, we need to make some strategical investments!

I would priorize our needs first and buy a top class LM, a top class LB, a licht like RB, would have kept Melo and avoid investing on more CMs
As for the offense, only a top class player like Benzema, Aquero, Rossi would be considered an upgrade, preferable someone who can score more consistent than Matri and Quaq,
would have kept only one of of Matri, Quaq, if i had the extra cash to buy a top forward and give priority to the sales of Amauri, Iaquinta first.
I just wonder by your standarts who do you consider a realstic 'high class quality' target for Juve, Cronios?
On what position? Forward? Rossi is one we could have bought if we were not buying Matri or Quaq and have sold Amauri and Iaq

Are you serious dude ?!
Melo,Vidal,Quag,Vucinic,Sissoko - Non of them are medicore .

Melo was nice player but he was overpirced .
Sissoko in 2008 was awesome far away from "medicority"
Quag who the fuck he can be medicore when he was our best player in 1st half of season :sergio:
Vucinic he may not be W.Class but he is really really good player .
Vidal - One word --> LOL .
They ARE mediocre/average by what have used to be Juve standards...
they are just squad players by those standards, not difference makers!

For God sake Cronios, wake up. We're not in time when we hade Thuram, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Vieira, Camo, Nedved, Del Piero and Trez.

We're just a strong team now looking to find their path into CL.

None of those players are average.

Until they learned his only trick :)
You need to realise that Krasic came to Juventus in the middle of Russian season. He had already played 14 games there, before playing another 42 in Serie A and Europe. It is only natural that he wasn't that good in the second half of the season.

He will be a force this year, being fully rested.

Doesn't matter really. Just give me a few examples if you don't mind. Because you insisted many times that we're bying the wrong players so I got a little curios about who do you consider world class that Juve could sign.

And you want us stay like that for ever, or bounce back some time in the future?
They are average, thats why we fail and thats why no other club wants them once we do...

We're progressing with this mercato, which has been pretty good so far.

Let's buy a quality LW and Lugano and we could realistically attempt at qualifying for the CL.

Then, build on that by buying 1-2 champions every summer to get back to the top.

Juve are threatening to create a solid base this season, that can be built upon in future seasons.

Getting a bunch of good players (Lichtsteiner, Pirlo, Vidal, Vucinic, maybe Lugano and maybe a LW) is more useful to Juve right now than blowing a shitload of cash on one or two great players.

Solid base -> get into the CL -> add real quality to the team.

Bayern made a big drama when Vidal signed for us. They even offered more than us but Leverkusen refused to sell to them.

What Voeller and Rummenige said can be found in many places in this forum and all over the net.
