Does it mean that if we sign Gilardino his words still mean something?

It means that he is looking at players with the same profile as the formentioned Aguero, Tevez and Benzema.

It doesn't mean we'll sign one of those players for sure, but we are trying to do so like we've seen with Aguero and Rossi.

If non of the players with that profile comes to club, either because they don't want to, or because the clubs wont sell their player, it's not like Marotta broke his promise.

He is a good purchase, his versality and his aerial presence is really great, but at CB he had his clumsy moments. He wont be the guy who organize the defense if that's what we are looking for.

Two seasons ago, he was named as the best RB. But even last year he was very good and I hear he's doing great at pre-season matches (so I doubt they'd even consider his sale).

I think Chiellini and Buffon can organize the defense well, they just need appropriate players next to them. With Ivanovic there, or Pereira, I don't think they'd need much organization as our whole defense would look top notch.

On the other hand I don't think Benzema - Matri duo would be that good, I think even Quag - Benzema would work better.

Marotta would be even bigger dick if he doesn't go for Hazard right now. There is no excuse for not doing it. Even if he buys Hazard this season's market if a failure, but we might be able to get a CL spot for the next year. All of us are bashing Secco, but he is gone for some time now and we aren't exactly doing better.

PS the only player that would exclude Hazard is Bale and we can't get him for sure.

Carlo Nesti questioning Juve's market. He says we bough Matri, Pepe, Motta, Quag, Lich and Vidal for 47.75 million and we got only 8.5mln from sales (Melo and Sissoko). So it's 38.5 million spent which is 75% of our whole budget. On the top of that we have to buy a DC, left winger and a striker.
