It's all about having the money and actually willing to pay.

Pastore won't be joining since he doesn't fit Conte's system. This has been said already in a numerous occasions. Pastore is a great player but I don't want players that Conte can't use properly. Give Conte silver if that is what he needs and don't him gold that he doesn't know what to do with. It might very well be the case that we're missing up on a opportunity but we wouldn't have gotten the most out of him in our situation. With a different coach with different ideas and plans we should and probably would have chased him.

By the way, considering if we'd chase him I think we'd have to pay a lot more than PSG to bring him over. However I don't understand why Pastore would agree to join PSG. He's been quoted for a long time that he were only willing to leave if a really big team like Barcelona would offer him a chance. Otherwise he would be happy to stay, and although I think Ligue 1 is having an upswing with Lille, Marseille, Lyon and maybe PSG the general quality is still not superior to Serie-A. So why would he take a step down? (Yeah, I know, bling bling and so forth.)

To be honest , i don't stick with the names. Aguero, Pastore, Cazorla all random examples, so i wont disagree about your thinking in Pastore's case. IMO it's silly to follow to Conte's advices when it comes to the market. First of all, it's sad that he tells who to buy since he's not even recognized as a WC coach, and he can easily be just another short term solution. Also more importantly, it's annoying to see coaches being so limited and how they "can't use" some great players, like in this case Pastore.

Rooney is a striker, Pastore isn't.
I don't know what Conte is thinking but if he thinks Pastore doesn't fit his system I believe he has a good reason for it. This also makes me happy that Conte has a firm idea of what he wants and how he believe he can accomplish it. I do not think he will bring us to WC but he's our coach and I have to give him a chance. At least he has some clue of what he's doing unlike many others before him.

And yes, someone will eventually have to drop but there's a differance to drop and "always be dropped". I'm really to tired to make myself comprehensible. Off to bed, ciao.

When were we negotiating with Agüero? Right, before Copa started. And we offered him much less than €10M and it was reported that he agreed to these terms. All what was left back then is to pay Atletico what they were asking for.

What did Marotta do? He offered them TEN FUCKING MILLION less than the asking price. Opportunities like that don't come every day but being cheap and stingy makes you miss out on such chances.

Let's see who will look stupid one when we see Gilardino or Pelissier holding the Juve jersey and next to him Marotta smiling.

So you really think that we are getting Grossi? I am against Grossi in the first place because I don't rate him and I don't think it's worth to work a big part of the campaign on him. But none the less, I am saying that you have a point and it is better for the club to go for him. At the same time, I don't see Marotta able to seal this deal either.
