True but to me this was a Marotta move not the coaches.

Marotta may of promised him a starting spot but in the end its the coaches decision.

Pirlo can't really function in a 2 man Midfield as both players need to be aggressive to win back posession and he is not that type of player.

Conte doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that will simply play him just because he earns 4m a year.

He will either change to a 3 man Midfield or bench him once he sees that he doesn't work in his 424 formation.

I don't know why but IF Zarate should arrive I'd rather see him as LW in Conte's 4-4-2. Though considering Zarate's ability and his level of commitment he's shown to Lazio, I'd have to say no thanks.

He has more natural ability then them, but no, he isnt better. He is heading more like Quaresma, and going back to Qatar or something in the nearest years, then scoring near 20 goals in the league like Matri did.
