Imagine making nice deals like Pirlo, Licht and Vidal then get shit on because you didn't spend 20M/year on Aguero. :snoop:

Pirlo doesn't fit the system of the Coach that he himself signed. Licht and Vidal are good signings, but they alone won't take us to the right level, to do that we need players of a certain quality in defence and LW/LM.

Sidenote: The 'failed' Agüero-transfer doesn't piss me off - It's overpaying or just signing players like Motta, Pepe, Matri, Quagliarella, Pirlo and Martinez etc. I did not at one point believe we could sign him.

Not if Quag's tore ligaments have something to say about it.
Even if it's Marotta and people expect stupid things from him, I don't see why would he want to get rid of Quag (his own signing and a successful one) if he doesn't know that the knee ligaments problem is a big one.

Yeah you are right. Pirlo is definitely the WTF signing of the summer. (tactically speaking)
But don't worry, Bonucci is right behind him clearing everything that goes through:disagree:

has it crossed anyone else's mind that we may not be looking for an out and out left winger, and maybe Pepe is going to be used for that role?

We'll buy a top CB, LW and maybe Rossi.

now the definition of top player for Marotta and cie can be different from ours.
